FALL/WINTER 2016 BUYING TRIP (PARIS)

A recap of our trip to Paris where we met with all the brands that we will be bringing in for our fall collection. There were so many great outerwear pieces we had to get them all. Extremely excited to present these collections to Vancouver as we will be stocking brands unavailable anywhere else. Take a look at our photos below to get an idea of what's in store for 017.

As soon as we got off the flight, we headed to our hotel to unpack and got ready to go for some good burgers. This was outside one of the restaurants we went to. Inside is a lounge despite all the advertisement plaster in the front of it.
First stop of the back to back appointments was Helmut Lang for Mens. Alexandre Plokhov is now the head designer and you can definitely see his signature style in the designs of the garments.

Visiting the CMMN SWDN and Matthew Miller Showroom. We're happy to be the first store in Vancouver to stock both brands and we're excited to shoot some editorials for the season. CMMN SWDN had a more technical approach to the collection this season drawing inspiration from the 70s. Boxy fit jackets and rich colors.

One of our favourite pieces from Carven. The polo shirt features contrasting pastelle tones with pale gold hardware for the buttons.
Maison Kitsune F/W 16 for women's was looking awesome. We got both pieces featured above. The jacket on the left has a camo print featuring Mount Fuji and is also water resistant. Perfect for Vancouver.
Etudes Studios for Fall 2016 draws inspiration from the 90's rave scene. Aliens, white noise and camo.
Harmony Paris was a brand we've been following for a while now and it was exciting to see it person. It looks good in photos, but even better in real life. All the clothing is made in some of the best factories and you can really feel the quality. Even the way it hangs on a hanger.
